The Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro S2 uses a true 10000mW laser module with dual-fan cooling for improved heat dissipation and cutting capability (e.g., cutting 30mm acrylic and 20mm wood). The LU2-10A laser module weighs 235g and provides a maximum engraving speed of 15000 mm/min with an engraving area of 390×410 mm. The machine includes a built-in air-assist interface for cutting and a laser protective cover that filters out 98% of UV light. It features 4 safety features:

 active position protection; stop when the USB cable is disconnected; emergency stop switch and flame alarm; and exposure time detection and limitation. Compatible software includes LaserGRBL and LightBurn, with Windows (7/8/XP/10/11) and macOS support via LightBurn. Supported engraving file formats include SVG, DXF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIF, CR2, and others.
